Our focus as a group is to have regular meetings and events with our peers that promote learning about our profession, vendors, and resources. We host forums for members to exchange ideas about business practices and include social gatherings that encourage community and friendships. Meetings are generally slated for the third Wednesday of the month, but will vary based on event. All are welcome.

About the Far West Suburban Peer Group: 
We focus on informal but informative meetings for all ASID members.  We encourage our members to participate in the planning of our meeting calendar so we get a variety of topics and venues that are of interest to members.  Our meetings can range from: visiting an Industry Partner; attending the business of design series;  listening to presentations of new products or a favorite vendor; or, having an informal round-table discussion at a restaurant.  We try to include a CEU when available or appropriate.  We foster professionalism, collaboration, and friendship to help us all succeed in the field of design. We typically meet on the fourth Wednesday evening of each month at various locations. We do alter the day or time if necessary. All Are Welcome!!

About the NW/ North Shore Peer Group: 
Our peer group promotes inclusion for all ASID members. We meet at various showrooms, or restaurants to enhance our benefits by providing an informal forum for all members to learn, network, and share information/resources in an atmosphere of confidentiality and professionalism. CEUs are a great perk we provide from our vendors. The meetings have fostered friendship and mentorships. By providing presentation and networking opportunities for Industry Partners, we build relationships between us and expand our business resources. We typically meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at lunch time of each month at various locations. In the summertime, we usually plan a field trip. All are welcome.

About Western Suburbs Peer Group: 
Our peer group meetings strive to provide members with opportunities to earn CEUs; the presentations are informative, relevant, and educational (ex. LED lighting, selection of plumbing fixtures, and stone countertops). We aim to make our meetings fun and engaging. There is a very positive tone and energy at our events. The leaders and members are genuinely interested in supporting one another. We consistently share best practices, resources, and ideas. We make it our mission to make our meetings productive and fulfilling for everyone. We have gained loyal members and the group continues to expand. We've had excellent attendance at our meetings! As leaders, we actively seek out new members and students to join ASID. We also encourage ASID Industry Partners to join us at our peer group meetings as a means to foster meaningful relationships with our vendors, trades, and business partners. We strive to maintain the goals of ASID and promote the value of interior design.
