Capitol Day Continues on- Virtually!

Capitol Day Continues On - Virtually!

While Capitol Day was postponed due to the current situation, originally planned for April 24th, progress is still being made remotely! Twenty six legislators have been contacted remotely by IIDA's VP of Advocacy, Tom Spanier. It is very important that we continue spreading the message that Interior Design is a technical field that impacts health, safety, and welfare of the public.  We need to educate the public on what we really do. Tell them about the rigorous education, experience and exam requirements we must go through in order to be called a Registered Interior Designer. You do not need to be a Registered Interior Designer to be a powerful advocate! At the end of the day, regardless if you are a practicing Interior Designer or not, we all are passionate about our industry. It is up to us to change the way our industry is perceived and elevate it to the next level.  Check out this PDF  or click the image below for more information on how to support the Registered Interior Designers Act which renews in 2022!
