LOOK ALIKE CONTEST!

ASID Illinois and NKBA Chicago Midwest Chapter are postponing our planned charity event “Barkitecture” due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are currently working to find a new date to host this wonderful event. 

In the meantime, both organizations have decided to plan a “Stuck at Home Look Alike Contest” starting today, April 3, 2020 until April 30, 2020.  Winners of the “Stuck at Home Look Alike” contest will receive a $100 gift card to be used at local restaurant, coffee shop, pizza shop or other local business of the winner’s choosing to help give back to those greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is just a fun contest between Chicago design community!

Rules & Instructions:

• Entries must be submitted online via Facebook or Instagram by April 30th. 
• All entries must use the following hashtags so we can find your photos.
•           #ASIDstuckathome & #NKBAstuckathome
• If you do not have Facebook or Instagram, you may email them to Janel Hyland.
• Max 3 entries per Facebook per person.
• You must include an image of what you are trying to look like see examples above.
• You may only use the people, pets and objects in your home or backyard. We have a mandatory stay at home order, so you cannot run out to the store or invite your friends over!
• Props can be objects in your home, face paint, stuffed animals, your kids, your spouse, etc.! Endless possibilities.
• Your look alike is really open to your creativity. It can be a famous person, a movie, a song, a historical figure, a painting, a phrase or saying, etc.  If you are not sure, email Janel above for approval.
• A short description can be included if needed.
• Contest will be judged by the ASID Illinois Board and the NKBA Chicago Midwest Council. 

All entrants must follow ASID Illinois &  NKBA Chicago Midwest Chapter on Facebook and ASID Illinois & NKBA Chicago Midwest Chapter Instagram to win. 
Entrants can receive 1 additional entry into the drawing by tagging their friends in their post.
